MapleSim - Home of BannedStory

Items Windows

Each item window holds all the items you can use inside BannedStory. The four items windows are: the Character Items window, Equipment Items window, Pet Items window, Skill Items window and the Mob Items window.

The items windows will became enabled or disabled depending on the layer you have currently selected. The character items window and the equipment items window will only be enabled when you have selected a character layer, the pet items window when its a pet layer, and the mob items window when its a mob layer.

Character Items Window

In the character items window you can find the skin colors, face expressions and hair styles that can be used in your character. When you select either the face expressions or the hair styles, new options will appear at the bottom of the window, letting you select the colors or expressions.

In the equipment items window you can choose the equipment that your character can use. Click on the corresponding class to see the items of that class.

Pet Items Window

In the pet items window you can select any pet and its corresponding equipment. Please note that you cannot load a pet equipment if your pet layer does not have a pet. You cannot load pet equipment into a pet that does not support that particular pet equipment (for example, trying to load the Husky Yellow Tights into a Pengin pet).

Pet Items Window

Mob Items Window

In the mob items window, you can find all the monsters supported by BannedStory. They now have thumbnails and are arranged according to their level. If a monster does not appear in the window, its because its file size is too big to be used online.

Mob Items Window

Chat Balloons Window

In the chat window, you can choose any of the chat balloons of the game. To add text to a chat balloon, just double click it to enter in edit mode. To resize the chat balloon, move over the right bottom corner of the balloon and drag it to resize.

Random Generator

With the Random Generator window, you can create random characters, pets, skills and monsters. You can find this window in the menu by clicking Window -> Random Generator.
